Melanie Watson, Director, Kindermusik, Voice and Simply Music

Melanie Watson received her Bachelor of Music/Vocal Music Education from the University of Arizona.  She also has her Masters in Vocal Performance and managed a private school music program for grades K-12, teaching general and choral music, before coming home to be a full time mom and teaching piano and voice. When her children were 6 and 9, she discovered Kindermusik.

Her passion is to lead people of all ages to discover the joy of creating their own music. Teaching Kindermusik, Simply Music Piano and Voice Lessons makes the fulfillment of that passion a reality! A licensed Kindermusik educator since 1996, she taught with Kindermusik of Cleveland, hailed as one of the top Kindermusik studios internationally from 1998-2003, prior to moving to the Twin Cities with her family.

Melanie and her husband Peter enjoy singing and reading together and spending time with their Doberman, Soola, and are parents of two adult children--Elisabeth and Kenton.

Tiffin Fuhrman, Kindermusik & Flute

Miss Tiffin’s love of music began quite early–her formal music studies starting with piano lessons at age 6, adding flute and organ later on.  She has taught and performed music professionally for over 20 years and has experienced great success and satisfaction in sharing her love of music with people of all ages.

Her degrees include a Bachelors and Masters in flute performance from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD and Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.  She has also studied organ at Concordia University in St. Paul.

You will see Tiffin at our studio, possibly teaching a Kindermusik class or hear her giving a flute lesson in her own pedagogy room off of our main studio space.
